The Avanos 2120-12-0.8 is a MIC-KEY* G Low-Profile Gastrostomy Feeding Tube Kit. Unlike the traditional "long" tubes (the 0100 series), this is a "button" tube that sits flush against the skin, making it more discreet and comfortable for active patients.

The 2120 prefix designates a Safety Kit that includes the low-profile tube and the necessary components for a standard tube exchange or placement.

Key Features

  • 12 French Diameter: A small-bore tube typically used for pediatric patients or infants.

  • 0.8 cm Stoma Length: This is the measurement of the "shaft" that sits inside the stoma tract (the distance from the surface of the skin to the inside of the stomach wall). It is essential that this length is accurately measured by a clinician to prevent the tube from being too tight or too loose.

  • Low-Profile "Button" Design: Sits flat against the abdomen, which reduces the chance of the tube getting snagged on clothing or being pulled out accidentally.
