When the o-ring fails, the water purification systems can leak water. To prevent this from occurring, LabStrong™ recommends changing the o-rings when the cartridges in these water purification systems are replaced. When replacing the o-ring, place the o-ring flat in the recess located between the cartridge canister housing and the head section of the water purification system.
