Description

12.0 French Extra-Large Bore: Provides a very large internal lumen (approx. 2.65 mm inner diameter), facilitating the delivery of the most viscous feeds and the most efficient aspiration of gastric contents.
Polyurethane Construction: Offers high durability and "thermal softening"—the tube is rigid enough for easy insertion but becomes soft and pliable once it reaches body temperature. It is validated for a long-term indwell time of up to 30 days.
Legacy "EO" Hub: Features the signature orange "Enteral Only" hub. This is a non-ENFit® slip-style connector. It is designed to be incompatible with IV ports but requires an adapter to connect to newer purple ENFit® syringes.
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Features a rounded, smooth open end with three precision-drilled side ports. This "active flow" design prevents the sharp edges and "dead zones" where bacteria often colonize in traditional closed-tip tubes.
- Aseptic Hub & Plug: The hub is "bottomless" (lacks internal floors) to prevent breast milk or formula from pooling and harboring bacteria.
Radiopaque Visibility: A semi-encapsulated orange stripe runs the entire 109 cm length, ensuring high visibility under X-ray for placement verification.
Depth Monitoring: High-contrast centimeter markings assist in accurate placement and allow clinicians to monitor for any tube displacement over time.
