6.5 French Diameter: Provides a larger lumen than 5.0 Fr tubes, which is beneficial for older or larger neonates, higher-viscosity feeds, or more efficient gastric aspiration.
Polyurethane Material: Offers excellent durability and a "softening" property—it is firm for easier insertion but becomes more flexible at body temperature. It is validated for an indwell time of up to 30 days.
Legacy Orange Hub: The non-threaded, orange "Enteral Only" connector is designed for use with legacy oral and enteral syringes. It is not compatible with ENFit® syringes without a transition adapter.
Anti-Colonization Design: Features an open distal tip with three precision-drilled (not cut) side ports. This smooth design reduces the risk of tissue irritation and eliminates "hidden cavities" where bacteria can grow.
Radiopaque Visibility: Includes a semi-encapsulated orange stripe that is clearly visible under X-ray, allowing clinicians to verify placement quickly and accurately.
Tethered Plug Closure: The hub includes an integrated plug to seal the lumen when not in use, protecting the system from ambient air and contamination.
