6.5 French Diameter: Offers a larger lumen than 5.0 Fr tubes, allowing for the delivery of higher-viscosity nutrition and more efficient gastric aspiration in larger neonates or pediatric patients.
Soft Silicone Construction: Naturally flexible and soft upon insertion, silicone is ideal for patients with sensitive tissues or those at risk of "nipple aversion." It is validated for a long-term indwell time of up to 30 days.
Legacy Orange Hub: The non-threaded "Enteral Only" connector is designed for legacy oral and enteral syringes. It is not compatible with ENFit® systems without the use of a transition adapter.
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Smooth, rounded edges with precision-drilled side ports (not cut) help eliminate "hidden cavities" where bacteria can colonize.
- Hub Design: The non-threaded hub is accessible and easily cleaned compared to more complex threaded designs.
