8.0 French Diameter: The larger lumen is ideal for delivering thicker, fortified feeds or for more effective suctioning of gastric contents compared to 5.0 or 6.5 Fr tubes.
Polyurethane Material: Provides a "thermal softening" benefit—the tube is firm for controlled insertion but softens once it reaches body temperature, increasing patient comfort and allowing an indwell time of up to 30 days.
Legacy Orange Hub: A non-threaded connector compatible with legacy enteral syringes. It is not compatible with ENFit® syringes without a transition adapter (like the F00133).
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Features a rounded, open end with three offset side ports that are precision-drilled rather than cut. This minimizes sharp edges that can irritate gastric tissue and helps eliminate "dead zones" where bacteria can grow.
