Description
Key Features
12 French Large-Bore Diameter: Provides a significantly larger internal lumen compared to 8 Fr or 10 Fr tubes, which dramatically reduces the risk of clogging and allows for faster delivery of enteral nutrition.
3-Gram Tungsten Weight: Features a light distal weight that helps the tube settle in the gastric floor, preventing the tip from migrating upward into the esophagus while remaining comfortable for the patient.
Integrated Insertion Stylet: Comes with a pre-inserted stainless steel guide wire. This stylet provides the necessary "pushability" to guide the large-bore tube through the nasal passages and into the stomach.
Universal / Legacy Connector: Equipped with the traditional stepped ("Christmas tree") connector.
Note: If your facility has transitioned to the purple ISO 80369-3 safety standard, the ENFit® version is part number 40-7432.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more durable than silicone. This material allows for thinner walls, maximizing the internal diameter relative to its size, and is resistant to gastric acid for up to 30 days of use.
Water-Activated Lubricant: Both the internal lumen and distal tip are coated with a lubricant that becomes highly slippery when wet, facilitating a smoother insertion and easier removal of the stylet.
Radiopaque and Marked: The entire tube and the 3g tungsten weight are visible under X-ray. Centimeter markings along the length allow clinical staff to monitor for any accidental tube migration.
