This model is a hybrid within the CORFLO* line: it features the standard adult length of a gastric tube but includes a light weight at the distal end. This makes it a popular choice for "blind" post-pyloric placement or for gastric patients who are prone to tube migration and need a bit of gravity to keep the tip in the lower stomach.

3-Gram Tungsten Weight: Unlike the "heavy" 10g version (2431) used for aggressive small-bowel migration, the 3g weight is more subtle. it provides enough stability to help the tube stay in the gastric body or settle toward the pylorus without the bulk of a larger weight.
10 French Mid-Bore: The most common adult size, providing a reliable flow for standard enteral formulas while remaining thin enough to be well-tolerated by the patient.
Integrated Insertion Stylet: Includes a pre-inserted stainless steel guide wire. This provides the "pushability" needed for a smooth bedside insertion. The stylet is removed and discarded once placement is confirmed.
