The TBT02050ST is a premium, all-inclusive procedural tray designed for Dual-Modality (Ultrasound + Nerve Stimulation) continuous peripheral nerve blocks. The "050" indicates a 50 mm (2-inch) needle length, making it the ideal choice for superficial nerve targets. The "02" designation confirms this is a Complete Tray with Drugs, containing local anesthetic for the initial skin wheal.
Key Features
Superficial Block Optimization: The 50 mm (2") needle length is specifically designed for shallow nerve targets such as the Interscalene, Axillary, or Suprascapular blocks, where a longer needle would increase the risk of over-penetration.
Dual-Modality Guidance: The needle is insulated for use with a nerve stimulator while also featuring echogenic dimpling for high-contrast visibility under ultrasound, allowing for "double-confirmation" of the needle tip position.
Integrated Medication: Includes a 5 mL ampule of 1.0% Lidocaine HCl, providing the clinician with immediate access to local anesthetic for the skin wheal without needing to source it from the pharmacy.
Kink-Proof SPIROL® Catheter: Features a 20 GA x 24-inch spring-coiled catheter. The internal stainless steel coil prevents the catheter from kinking or collapsing, ensuring consistent medication delivery from an ON-Q Pump*.
Comprehensive Securement: Includes the LockIT Plus® securement device and Benzoin adhesive, engineered to keep the catheter anchored for multiple days during continuous infusion.
Full Ultrasound Suite: Provides a 48-inch probe cover, sterile gel, and a specialized ultrasound drape to maintain a sterile environment during guided procedures.
