Key Component Details
150 mm Echogenic Needle: The surface of the needle is treated to reflect ultrasound waves even at steep angles. The 6-inch length is essential for deep blocks such as the Sciatic Nerve block (anterior or transgluteal approach) or the Lumbar Plexus block.
SPIROL® Catheter Technology: The 20-gauge catheter features an internal stainless steel coil. This "spring-wire" design ensures that even if the patient bends their hip or knee, the catheter remains patent (un-kinked) and continues to deliver medication.
Integrated Stimulation Wire: The needle can be connected to a nerve stimulator (using a standard pin connector). This provides a secondary confirmation of needle tip proximity to the nerve by observing specific muscle contractions.
Extra-Long Catheter: Because the needle is longer (150 mm), the catheter is also extended to 36 inches (91 cm) to provide enough slack for securement and connection to an infusion pump.
