The TBT02 series refers to Avanos’ premium "all-in-one" procedural trays. The "02" designation indicates that these are Continuous Trays with Drugs, specifically including a 5 mL ampule of 1.0% Lidocaine HCl. These kits are designed for maximum efficiency, providing every component needed—from skin prep and local anesthesia to ultrasound accessories and catheter securement—in a single sterile field.
Key Features
Integrated Medication: Includes a 5 mL ampule of 1.0% Lidocaine HCl for the initial skin wheal, eliminating the need to source separate vials for the procedure.
Dual-Modality (ST Models): "ST" versions feature an insulated needle that is both echogenic (ultrasound visible) and stimulating (compatible with nerve stimulators) for dual confirmation of needle placement.
Ultrasound-Only (T Models): "T" versions are optimized for ultrasound guidance with echogenic dimpling but lack the stimulator wire for a cleaner, wireless workflow.
Kink-Proof SPIROL® Catheter: Features a 20 GA x 24-inch spring-coiled catheter with an internal stainless steel coil, ensuring the continuous flow of local anesthetic from an ON-Q Pump* remains uninterrupted.
LockIT Plus® Securement: Includes a specialized catheter securement device designed to stay in place for multiple days, reducing the risk of accidental dislodgement.
Full Ultrasound Kit: Every tray includes a probe cover, sterile gel, and a clear ultrasound drape to maintain sterility during imaging.
