he Avanos PS25005 is a high-capacity, dual-site model within the ON-Q Pain Relief System*. It is specifically designed to provide continuous local anesthesia to two separate areas using some of the longest infusion zones available in the product line.
The "250" in the model number denotes the 25 cm (10-inch) "soaker" length of the dual catheters, providing massive coverage for very large surgical incisions or long nerve paths.
Key Features
Dual 10-Inch Soaker Catheters: Each of the two catheters features a 10-inch (25.4 cm) infusion segment. This is significantly longer than the standard 2.5-inch or 5-inch models, allowing for maximum distribution of anesthetic across a wide area.
Balanced Dual-Site Delivery: The pump utilizes a bifurcated (split) tubing system that takes a total flow of 4.0 mL/hr and splits it equally to provide 2.0 mL per hour per site.
Large 270 mL Reservoir: Engineered to maintain the dual-site flow rate for over two days while remaining portable enough for the patient to carry during recovery.
