Description
The CB005 (also known as CB005-N for the NRFit version) is an ON-Q C-Bloc Pain Relief System** with both Select-A-Flow* and ONDEMAND* capabilities, manufactured by Avanos Medical. It is a sophisticated elastomeric pump that provides both a customizable continuous flow and a patient-controlled bolus for breakthrough pain.

Select-A-Flow Variable Rate Controller:* Allows clinicians to titrate the continuous flow of local anesthetic based on the patient's specific pain level or recovery stage.
ONDEMAND Bolus Button:* Features an ergonomic, patient-controlled button that delivers an additional preset dose of medication for breakthrough pain without the risk of overdose (due to a fixed lockout period).
Non-Narcotic Analgesia: Delivers local anesthetic directly to surgical sites or nerve blocks, significantly reducing the need for systemic opioids and their associated side effects.
NRFit™ Safety Standard: Modern versions include the yellow-coded NRFit™ connector (ISO 80369-6) to prevent dangerous accidental connections between regional anesthesia and IV lines.
Elastomeric "Balloon" Power: Operates silently and without batteries, providing mechanical reliability and allowing for early patient mobility.
