Description
The ACC01 is an ON-Q T-Peel Introducer Needle*. This specialized surgical needle is used to facilitate the percutaneous (through the skin) insertion and placement of an ON-Q* pain management catheter into the surgical site or near a nerve.
Key Features
T-Peel Technology: The needle is equipped with a unique sheath. After the needle reaches the target area, the catheter is threaded through it. The needle is then withdrawn, and the sheath is "peeled" away in two halves, leaving the catheter securely in place.
Removable Wings: Includes wings that provide the clinician with an ergonomic grip for steady control during insertion. These wings can be removed to reduce the profile if needed.
Visual Accuracy: The needle is designed for visibility under imaging, allowing for precise anatomical placement and verification during the procedure.
Safety & Efficiency: This system is engineered to simplify the catheter placement process while protecting the catheter from damage during the insertion and threading phase.
