Description
The ACC12S is an ON-Q Tunneler Introducer Sheath* manufactured by Avanos Medical. This sterile, single-use surgical accessory is designed to assist in the precise placement of catheters for the ON-Q* Pain Relief System.
This model is the short-length version of the 17-gauge series, specifically intended for shallow subcutaneous tunnels or smaller surgical sites.
Key Features
T-Peel (Peel-Away) Design: The sheath features a specialized "peel-away" shaft. Once the catheter is threaded into the target area, the clinician peels the sheath apart into two halves to remove it, ensuring the catheter remains in its intended location without being dislodged.
Tissue Protection: The sheath acts as a protective conduit, preventing the catheter from picking up tissue debris or encountering resistance during insertion.
Ergonomic Integration: Designed to fit perfectly with Avanos 17-gauge tunnelers. The sheath slides over the tunneler to create the path and stays in place after the tunneler is withdrawn.
Sterile for Single Use: Provided in individual sterile pouches, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination and ensuring medical-grade performance for every procedure.
