Description

Syringe-to-Tube Bridge: This adapter allows you to continue using your stock of non-ENFit syringes (like older NeoMed orange-tip syringes or standard clear Luer syringes) with a patient who has already been upgraded to a purple ENFit feeding tube.
Dual Inlet Design: The internal geometry of the adapter is designed to accept both standard oral tips and male Luer-slip tips, providing flexibility depending on what legacy syringes are available in your pharmacy or ward.
Standardized Safety: The distal end of the adapter is a male ENFit® connector that threads securely into the feeding tube, ensuring a leak-proof and safety-compliant connection.
Color-Coded White: Like its counterpart, it is made of white plastic to signify its status as a temporary transition tool rather than a permanent part of the safety system.
Dosing Precaution: Note that using adapters can slightly increase "dead space" or priming volume. For extremely precise neonatal medications, clinicians are encouraged to move to a native ENFit syringe as soon as possible.
