8.0 French Diameter: A larger bore size for the "Short" category, making it excellent for delivering higher volumes of fortified nutrition or for more effective gastric venting and aspiration.
Thermal Softening Polyurethane: This material is engineered to be firm at room temperature for a controlled, easy insertion. Once inside the body, it softens at body temperature to enhance patient comfort. It is validated for long-term use (up to 30 days).
Legacy "EO" Hub: Features the orange NeoMed* connector. It is a non-threaded, slip-style hub designed for legacy enteral syringes. It prevents accidental connection to IV lines but requires an adapter for use with modern ENFit® purple syringes.
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Features a rounded open end with three precision-drilled side ports. This "smooth-flow" design eliminates the sharp edges of punched holes and prevents "dead zones" where bacteria can colonize.
