Description

8.0 French Diameter: A mid-to-large bore size that facilitates the delivery of higher-volume feeds and provides more efficient gastric aspiration and venting than smaller 5.0 Fr or 6.5 Fr tubes.
Thermal Softening Polyurethane: The material is rigid at room temperature to assist with controlled insertion but softens significantly at body temperature. This allows for an indwell time of up to 30 days while maximizing patient comfort.
Legacy "EO" Hub: Features the signature orange NeoMed* connector. This is a non-threaded, slip-style "Enteral Only" hub designed to prevent accidental IV connections, though it requires a transition adapter to connect to newer purple ENFit syringes.
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Features a rounded, open end with three precision-drilled side ports. This "smooth-flow" design avoids the sharp edges of cut holes and eliminates "dead zones" where bacteria often colonize.
