Firm PVC Construction: Provides higher rigidity than silicone or polyurethane, facilitating easier passage through the nasal or oral cavity. It is medical-grade, DEHP-free, and BPA-free.
Legacy "EO" Hub: Features the signature orange NeoMed* connector. It uses a non-threaded slip-style connection designed for legacy enteral syringes. It is not compatible with threaded purple ENFit® syringes without an adapter.
Anti-Colonization Design:
- Open Distal Tip: Features a rounded open end with three precision-drilled side ports. This "smooth-flow" design avoids the sharp edges of cut holes and eliminates "dead zones" where bacteria can colonize.
- Aseptic Hub: The "bottomless" hub design prevents breast milk or formula from pooling in internal crevices, reducing the risk of bacterial growth at the connection site.
