The Avanos FTL6.5V-EO is a 90 cm PVC ENFit® Feeding Tube (6.5 French).
In the NeoMed* naming convention, the "V" stands for PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). This material offers a slightly firmer feel than polyurethane (P) or silicone (S), which some clinicians prefer for easier, more controlled insertion. Like the other models in the "EO" series, this is a Legacy tube featuring the orange "Enteral Only" hub.

PVC Construction: The firmer nature of PVC provides excellent tactile feedback during insertion. It is medical-grade, DEHP-free, and BPA-free, validated for an indwell time of up to 30 days.
6.5 French Diameter: A mid-sized diameter suitable for larger neonates and pediatric patients, offering a balance between patient comfort and efficient flow for feeds or gastric decompression.
Legacy Orange Hub: A non-threaded "Enteral Only" connector designed for legacy oral and enteral syringes. It requires a transition adapter to connect to newer ENFit® systems.

Open Distal Tip: Precision-drilled (not cut) side ports and a rounded open end minimize tissue trauma and eliminate "hidden cavities" where bacteria can grow.
Aseptic Hub: The signature NeoMed "bottomless" hub design prevents breast milk or formula from pooling in internal crevices.
Radiopaque Visibility: A semi-encapsulated orange stripe runs the entire length of the tube for clear X-ray verification.
Centimeter Markings: High-contrast markings assist in accurate placement and allow for easy monitoring of tube migration.
