Features of the Rolyan Aquaplast Functional Position Splint:

  • All of the features you love about Aquaplast splinting material are available in a preformed splint: Modifications are quick and simple to make. Can be reheated and reshaped repeatedly. Resists fingerprinting. Transparent while soft for convenience while molding. Fabricated from 1/8" (3.2mm) material. Straps not included. Latex free.

  • Pre-formed functional position splints position the wrist and hand in approximately 30° of wrist extension, neutral deviation, 35° of MCP flexion, and 20° of PIP and DIP flexion. The thumb is positioned in opposition and palmar abduction. Splints can be modified easily for a custom fit.

  • To determine size, measure the width of the 2nd to 5th MCP: Small - 21/2"-31/2" (6.4-8.9cm).
