Anti-Embolism stockings act as a Thrombo-Embolic Deterrent for the reclining or bed-confined patient. Ideal for use with the post-surgical, home convalescing patient, but designed to meet the demanding standards of a hospital environment. 10-20 mmHG of compression (18mmHg targeted at the ankle). The thigh-length stockings have the same compression profile as the below-knee style, but also feature a generous expansion panel at the upper thigh to help maintain circulation through the femoral area. Closed toe offers a more natural stocking feel, while the open toe design allows for easy toe inspection with bed-confined wearers. Latex free.
