Description

A rapid latex agglutination slide-card test for the identification of Staphylococcus aureus from culture media. Tests for both coagulase and protein A found in S. aureus. Coagulase is detected in both free and bound form (clumping factor). This test contains positive and negative controls. The easy procedure involves placing several colonies within the raised circle on a white latex agglutination card (Cat. no. PL092HD) sold separately. A drop of the blue latex solution is added and mixed with four inch flat-end mixing sticks (Cat. no. PL091HD) sold separately.
