Dual-Lumen Functionality: The tube has two distinct channels within a single body. One lumen ends in the stomach for venting/drainage, and the other extends into the jejunum for feeding.
ENFit Safety Connectors: Both the gastric and jejunal ports are equipped with ENFit connectors. This prevents misconnections with IV lines and ensures only enteral-specific syringes can be used.
Tungsten-Weighted Tip: The 15 cm jejunal segment is weighted with tungsten. This helps the tube maintain its position past the pylorus and reduces the risk of the "tail" migrating back into the stomach.
