Two-Part System: This product is comprised of a contoured Feeder Seat and a Floor Sitter Wedge. The seat provides a supportive, ergonomic form, while the wedge offers adjustable positioning.
Postural Support: The Feeder Seat has a contoured interior with a 90∘ seat-to-back angle, promoting proper posture. The sides of the seat are curved to provide lateral support to the head, trunk, hips, and thighs and help prevent shoulder retraction.
Security and Adjustability: For a secure fit, the seat includes an integral abductor to maintain proper hip alignment, as well as a 45∘ hip positioning strap and a quick-release H-belt. The shoulder harness straps can be adjusted vertically by 4 inches to accommodate growth. The medium size, along with the small, includes an anti-thrust seat to enhance pelvic stability.
Versatile Positioning: The Floor Sitter Wedge allows the Feeder Seat to be placed in either an upright or a reclined position. This versatility makes the system suitable for a wide range of activities. A hook-and-loop (Velcro) system ensures the seat is held securely on the wedge.
