The Avanos 181A132 is a Universal Nerve Block Tray designed for regional anesthesia and pain management procedures. It serves as a comprehensive "support" kit, providing the sterile environment and fluid management components required for a block while allowing the clinician to provide their own primary procedural needle (such as an echogenic or stimu-needle).
Key Features
Short Extension Set: Includes a 6-inch Minibore Extension Line with a rotator. This is a critical component for "two-person" block techniques or ultrasound-guided procedures, as it decouples the syringe from the needle, preventing the needle from moving or dislodging during the injection.
Versatile Syringe Selection: Features multiple syringes, including three 3 mL and one 10 mL Luer Lock syringes, allowing for the simultaneous preparation of local skin numbing agents and the primary nerve block anesthetic.
Safety & Accuracy: Comes with a Needle Stick Pad for secure sharps management and pre-printed adhesive labels for all syringes, ensuring compliance with medication safety protocols.
Sterile Field Integrity: The tray is wrapped in a large 30" x 30" alcohol-repellent CSR wrap that provides a wide, non-permeable work surface resistant to prep solution strike-through.
