The Avanos 181A144 is a Universal Nerve Block Tray that offers a comprehensive procedural setup for regional anesthesia. This kit is more robust than basic trays, featuring specialized needles for both superficial and deep access, along with an extension set to facilitate precision injections.
Key Features
Multiple Procedural Needles: Includes a 22 Gauge x 3.5 inch Quincke Point Needle, commonly used for spinal access or deep nerve blocks, in addition to standard hypodermic needles.
6-Inch Extension Line: Includes a minibore extension line with a rotator. This allows for a "stationary needle" technique where the syringe is decoupled from the needle, preventing the needle from moving or dislodging during anesthetic delivery.
Integrated Pharmaceuticals: Contains Lidocaine HCl (1%), providing the clinician with immediate access to local anesthetic without needing to source it from a separate pharmacy supply.
Sterile Field Protection: Wrapped in a 30" x 30" alcohol-repellent CSR wrap that creates a large, non-permeable sterile workspace.
Safety & Organization: Features a Needle Stick Pad for secure sharps disposal and pre-printed medication labels to ensure all prepared syringes are clearly identified.
