Description
This is the smallest catheterized kit in the NeoMed urinary line, specifically engineered for the most delicate patients—extremely low birth weight (ELBW) neonates and small infants in the NICU. It combines the ultra-thin 3.5 Fr silicone catheter with a high-precision monitoring system.
Kit Contents
The UK3.5 is a comprehensive, sterile "procedure in a box" that includes:
(1) 3.5 French Silicone Catheter: Ultra-soft, 40 cm long, with a radiopaque stripe for X-ray placement verification and centimeter markings for depth control.
(1) 100 mL Graduated Burette: Designed for precise measurement of very low urine output.
(1) Needleless Sampling Port: Allows for sterile specimen collection using a Luer-slip syringe without breaking the "closed system."
