The Philips HeartStart FR2+ has been a trusted tool of professional responders and lay rescuers. Even with its advanced capabilities, it has been designed to be extremely easy to use. Its clean, uncluttered design allows for fast, efficient operation and rapid delivery of therapy. Add a set of pediatric pads (optional), and the FR2 is capable of treating patients of almost any age. 
Featuring loud, clear, natural sounding voice instructions and text prompts on a large, back-lit display make the FR2+ the obvious choice for use in noisy or poorly-lit locations. The daily, weekly, monthly self-tests check the battery, electrical components and subsystems, with a highly visible status indicator showing the FR2+ is ready for use. 
The reusable 3-lead ECG assessment module is available for use in assessing the rhythm of patients who are not in cardiac arrest, but are conscious, breathing, and suspected of being at risk. This makes it ideal for use during in- and out-of-hospital transport, clinics and physicians’ offices, situations that require long or difficult travel. You may also opt for a rechargeable battery and charger for the FR2+. 
Its many features make the FR2+ a versatile, rugged defibrillator, enabling rescuers to potentially save the life of a family member, friend, coworker, or fellow citizen under extremely demanding circumstances.
