Simulaids Training Vests


  • The Simulaids Training Vest has been designed with the assistance of the International Association of Fire Fighters (I.A.F. F.) to aid in the physical ability testing of fire department candidates.

  • The vest weighs 50 lbs., simulating the weight of the fire fighter’s protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.

  • It is also designed to allow for the addition of two 121⁄2-lb. weights on the shoulders to simulate a high-rise pack (hose bundle).

  • The vest,the shoulder weights, and Rescue Randy are exclusively required for the validated Candidate Physical Ability Test developed by the I.A.F.F./I.A.F.C. Joint Fire Service Wellness-Fitness Initiative.
