Advanced magnetic hotplate stirrers are designed to deliver accurate and repeatable results in all research, academic, and industrial applications. With temperature ranges up to 500 °C and stirring speeds reaching 1600 rpm, the VWR hotplate-stirrers provides proper mixing and superior temperature control. Available in three sizes and a choice of two top plate materials.

These microprocessor-controlled units feature a front-facing control panel with an easy-to-read LCD that displays temperature settings, speed settings, and intuitive icons.
Hot plate stirrers are available with ceramic or aluminum top plate material. Reflective, white ceramic tops are chemical-resistant and easy to clean. Durable aluminum tops will not crack or chip and offer a more even heating surface. Display will show last used settings, even after the power has been turned off. For additional safety, a large, hot symbol warning light is illuminated when the hot plate is in use, and remains lit until the top plate is below 40 °C. Enhanced software for heat monitoring with an early detection system utilizing two independent safety controls to continuously monitor the electronics and shuts off heating before an over temperature condition occurs.
Enhanced electronics regulate the robust heater, which brings samples to the desired temperature quickly and efficiently. The low-profile design utilizes minimal bench space and permits use within a fume hood. Unit housing is constructed of a heat and chemical-resistant polymer that remains cool to the touch during operation. The spill-resistant design channels fluids away from internal components in the event of spills.

Off centered support rod holder accepts optional support rod kit or rods up to 13 mm (0.5") in diameter.
Heating models include a probe connection for the optional temperature probes. Temperature calibration feature ensures greater accuracy of the sample or top plate temperature.

Delivery information: Units are supplied with a 234 cm (92") three-wire cord and plug. Stirring models are supplied with a 3.8 cm (1¹/?") PTFE coated stir bar. 230 V models include detachable 234 cm (92") Euro and UK plugs and a CH adapter.
